For this project, my Interaction Design class taught by Professor Kelly Murdoch-Kitt partnered with the University of Michigan School of Pharmacy to create a mobile application catered towards people ages 50+ to serve as a means of easily managing their symptoms and communicating with their healthcare providers. The app features a symptom quiz, diet suggestions based on location, and various interactive charts and graphs that allow patients to visualize their progress in managing their heart failure symptoms.
Some of my goals for this project were to:
- Increase legibility and contrast, allowing for ease of use by the vision-impared.
- Incorporate more empathetic language.
- Flesh out incompleted features that the School of Pharmacy had proposed.
